All American Gabe Rufflin was awarded the Warrior Spear for his courage and consistency in the face of adversity against Cal.  Regardless of any circumstances on the field, Gabe kept his steel gaze focused forward.  He lifted his teammates, led by example, and showed those around him what it means to have a long range view.  Gabe doesn't get knocked off course, he just brings the fire every day.
